The MHS/SMHR Newsletter is an online blog administered by our fabulous webmaster, Ms. Monica Jercan at Discerning Systems, Inc. , and powered by WordPress.

The “header” section of the Newsletter includes a brief Welcome page, this Guide page, and the current Member Roster page.

The “body” section of the Newsletter is divided into two columns. The main column on the left displays the content of the Newsletter. The narrow column on the right displays monthly issues, categories, etc.

There are four common views for the content.

1. Compendium view: lists all articles (posts) in reverse chronological order, with the most recent one shown on the top of the list. To enter this view, click on the title MHS/SMHR Newsletter at the top of the page.

2. Monthly Issue view: lists all articles posted during a specific month. To enter this view, click on the specific month (such as September 2011) in the “Monthly Issues” panel on the right hand side.

3. Category view: lists all articled related to a specific category. To enter this view, click on the specific category of interest (such as ASA Section Petition) in the “Categories” menu on the right hand side.

4. Author view: list all articles posted by a specific author, such as Dylan Small. To enter this view, click on the name of the author shown in any view.

5. Article view: displays a specific article, such as Please Join in Petition for MHS as ASA Section. To enter this view, locate the article using one the four views described above, then click on the title for the article.

At the end of each article, you can leave comments on the article. Please use this medium to engage in discussions with your friends and colleagues, to make this Newsletter into a lively forum for MHS/SMHR!
